FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY 5K RUN, WALK OR CRAWL

· Where: City Park across from Pittsburg High School - 300 North Texas St.
· When: Saturday, September 20, 2008 7:00am, check-in @ 6:30am
· Entry Fee: $15 per person ($20 day of race)
· Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place awards given in each age group
· Age Groups: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50 & over
· All runners will receive a t-shirt
· Registration deadline: Thursday, September 18th at 5pm at the Pittsburg -Camp County Public Library, located at 613 Quitman Street, Pittsburg TX 75686 (Participants are not guaranteed a t-shirt if they are not pre-registered)

NEARLY THERE!

The Pittsburg-Camp County Public Library has raised $14,100. The Library has opted for roll carpet instead of carpet tiles, so there is a reduction in cost. We are going to paint the interior of the library building at an approximate cost of $1,950. The approximate cost of carpet and paint is $15,900, so we still need your donations! We are very close to our goal! Hooray!!!



So many of you have donated to our projects. Our patrons have donated large and small amounts, putting their change in our donation jar on the counter and sending in donations. Many have used their donations to our project as memorials for a loved one.
