Story Lady begins June 7th @ 2pm for Pre-K to 1st graders!

We are so excited for our summer activities! The Story Lady will begin her stories on June 7th at 2p.m. and continue through August 9th at 2p.m. The 1st and 3rd Tuesdays will be focused stories for preK-1st graders. The 2nd and 4th Tuesdays will be focused stories for 2nd - 4th graders. 10 WEEKS OF STORIES – Come join the fun!
          Sponsored by the Texas Commission on the Arts, our first performance program will be: Dru Woods, Storyteller and Puppeteer on June 9th at 10:30 a.m. Bring in new, non-perishable food items for extra chances to win prizes during our 3 major programs.


Once again, the library will offer the Food for Fines program during June and July. For every new, non-perishable item you donate to the library for our local food pantries, you will receive 50 cents off of your fine amount.
          The library is currently accepting donations to fill the backpacks for our summer drawings. We will need NEW unused school supplies. We are also accepting donations of refreshments so if you would like to donate or sponsor our refreshment table, please contact the library at 903-856-3302.
