New round of Computer Literacy Classes - Free to the public!

It is that time again, when we are starting a new set of computer classes, funded by a Capital One Grant, that will be offered at the Pittsburg Library. We are going to offer a Beginner Computer Class that will start on Friday Feb. 3 from 2-4:30pm. The Beginner Computer Class will be held in two sessions, the first session will be on Friday Feb. 3 and the next session will be on Friday Feb. 10 both classes will be held from 2-4:30pm at the library. If you or any of your family or friends would like to attend this class, please contact the library 903-856-3302 or come by and sign up on our list for this class. Also, on Saturday Feb. 11 we will be offering a class that morning from 10-12 that will cover the topic of using Google Documents, which is a similar program to Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Word and others. If you or anyone you know is interested in attending this course on Sat. Feb. 11, please call or come by the library to sign up on the list for this course.
We will be offering other courses covering other topics and more beginner courses at different times throughout the months to come. When we get these scheduled they will be posted in the Pittsburg Gazette or you can call the library and ask for further information.

J. Murphy; “Kill Me If You Can” by James Patterson; “The Dog Who Knew Too Much” by Spencer Quinn; and “Son Of Stone” by Stuart Woods.

New learning DVDs: “Light Speed Math: Fractions & Decimals”, “Light Speed Biology: Animal And Human Physiology”, “Light Speed Biology: The Building Blocks Of The Cell”, “Light Speed SAT: Vocabulary”, “Light Speed SAT: Math”, “Light Speed SAT: Reading & Writing”, “Light Speed Math: Multiplying & Dividing”, “The Magic School Bus: Human Body”.
