Library Hosts Free Password Security Class Thursday August 21st at 2pm

The Library will be hosting a free computer class on Thursday August 21st at 2pm on “Password Security”. This class is taught by Jennifer Evans, MLS through the LEOtrain Project at Texas A&M Commerce. Goals for the class are creating less hackable passwords, online security, learning methods hackers use, and online password managers. The class is free and open to the public. This project is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services and Texas State Library and Archives Commission 2014.
