The 2016 Pioneer Days ( This is a fund raiser to increase activities not only for Pioneer Days but, for other events throughout the year in Camp County.) planning is fully under way. We are adding a Bar BQ cook-off afternoon, a Community Leaders Luncheon , and a Peach Queen Coronation evening.Several young ladies, high school seniors, from the Pittsburg area will be selling tickets to each of these events from now until August 11 to earn points toward becoming the 2016 Peach Queen.

The City of Pittsburg is hosting a Pokémon Go Meetup on from We will be setup on the courthouse lawn with refreshments and have lures at all the downtown Pokestops. We encourage all ages to come out and meetup, make new friends and enjoy our beautiful downtown!
During off season for RV occupancy we are planning to use our RV sites for a "summer weekends" garage sale / flea market. Spaces available for $10 per day to set up and Daily storage on week days. And$20 per day for and sale days and to use electricity and water. Vendors can leave secure containers on their site between weekends for the daily rate.
We will have one food vendor at the Pavilion exclusive so no fast food vendors. Farmers market and canned good vendors are welcome. Come and down size, sell your wares and buy! We have 24hr recorded security through out the park but will not be responsible for theft or damage. We are shooting for opening week end . Call 903-767-2202 for info and rent your space. Back by popular demand -- our Garden & Farmer's Market is now open weekdays only at the college farm/ag complex from 9 am till noon. Opening day kicks off this Wednesday, July 20th. Bring your family and purchase plants and fresh canned goods or pick your own!
Mark your calendars for our Farm to Fork Luncheon. We will be grilling up and selling our famous farm fresh pizza on Friday, July 29th ONLY-- Don't miss this one -- All proceeds will benefit the NTCC Ag Program. Students in our work scholarship program gathered, processed and cooked all produce and food. Our gardens will continue to produce fresh produce daily.
