                                                   LIBRARY CORNER

Whew, we are in the ''dog days of summer"! Ever wonder what that means? The "dog days of summer" refers to the hottest, most humid period of the year, typically from late July to early September. This name originates from ancient times when people believed the star Sirius, also known as the Dog Star, was responsible for the intense summer heat. Come to the library and get a good book and get out of the heat!
