Kornpop is a professional entertainer that uses balloons and comedy magic to "MAKE FUN HAPPEN." Thank you Friends of the Library for providing awesome Summer Programs for everyone to enjoy! Refreshments will be provided by Pittsburg Autolube. Backpack drawing to be held after the program! Internet Computers will shut down today from 2-closing and there will not be a Story Time today. Money Camp for Kids

Pittsburg Camp County Public Library will be hosting financial literacy classes for children ages 5 to 13. Every Thursday from June 11 through July 16 we will hold two classes. The first class is designed for our K-3rd graders and the time is 10am to 12pm. The second class is for our 4th-8th graders and it is from 1pm-3pm. So come on by 613 Quitman St. Pittsburg, TX 75686 for this fun-filled workshop about MONEY!!!

Summer Reading Club

Don't forget to sign your little ones up for this year's Summer Reading Club, on June 11, 2015. The theme this year is "Every Hero Has a Story." We have great prizes and awesome programs lined up this summer that will entertain and educate children of all ages. Some of the programs include the Dallas Puppet Theater, Brett Roberts: Magician, and Snake Encounters. We even have some "home-grown" heroes with stories of their own to share with the children.

Without help from these sponsors and the community, it wouldn't be near the program it has become. We had 315 children sign up and 118 met the goal of 20 books, with many going over 100 books.
