Dallas Puppet Theater to perform "Whistle Stop" June 2 @ 10 a.m.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 2nd at 10:00 a.m. The library’s first program of the summer will be the Dallas Puppet Theater, performing “Whistle Stop”, sponsored by the Friends of the Pittsburg Camp County Public Library. Be sure to come early for the best seats. Remember to bring your new non-perishable food items for extra tickets to the drawings for school supplies. During June and July, you may also pay your fines with new non-perishable food items, getting 50 cents credit on your bill for each item you bring. This worked great last summer and allowed us to help the local food banks. Public computers will not be available during the performance. The computers will be available as soon as the performances are complete.

We still have a few things we need for our programs. We need some school supplies for our giveaway baskets, so anything you can donate is appreciated: crayons, Kleenex, baby wipes, paper, school glue, and spiral notebooks. If everyone pulls together and pools what we have, we can make this happen again! Last year we gave away 36 sets of school supplies. Our goal this year is 40 sets. We could not do this without your generosity. Thank you for your help.
