Dallas Puppet Theater was great!

The Friends of the Library sponsored the Dallas Puppet Theater and they put on a great show. We were excited to have 160 people in attendance. We were able to give away 10 sets of school supplies, and we hope to repeat that at each show this summer. Our next program will be June 28 so watch for details or call the library for information. During June and July, you may pay your fines with new non-perishable food items, getting 50 cents credit on your bill for each item you bring. This allows us to help the local food banks.

We still have a few things we need for our programs. We need some school supplies for our giveaway baskets, so anything you can donate is appreciated: crayons, Kleenex, baby wipes, paper, school glue, and spiral notebooks. If everyone pulls together and pools what we have, we can make this happen again! Our goal this year is 40 sets. We could not do this without your generosity. Thank you for your help.
