The library has been the recipient of some wonderful gifts lately. The Master Gardeners coordinated a landscaping project for us, including Hudnall Nursery, Swepco and help from Camp County that included new hedges along a fenced parking area. It looks great! The Friends of the Library have purchased new water fountains for the library and Harrel’s Plumbing donated the labor to install them. It is awesome to have working water fountains again!
The library is currently raising funds to help automate the entrance doors. We have raised half the funds to automate the side door and received a dollar for dollar match from Burt and Nancy Marans Charitable Fund at East Texas Communities Foundation to complete this entrance. We still need money to automate the front entrance. If you would like to donate, please contact the library at 903-856-3302.
