The Library will be closed Thursday November 27th through Sunday November 30th in observance of Thanksgiving. Return your materials through the night deposit or renew them online. We are grateful for you and wish a safe & happy Thanksgiving!



GED Preparation Classes are being held on Fridays, from 3:30pm until 5pm. This year’s GED Prep Classes are funded by Burt and Nancy Marans Charitable Fund at East Texas Communities Foundation.

ESL (English as a Second Language Classes) is underway on Saturdays from 10:00am until 11:30am. This year’s English Classes are funded by Dollar General Literacy Foundation (2014) and coordinated by A Circle of Ten, Inc.’s regional literacy initiative “Gateway to American Opportunities”.

New mysteries at the library include: “Top Secret Twenty-One” by Janet Evanovich; “Apple turnover murder” by Joanne Fluke; “The Silkworm” by Robert Galbraith; “Remains of Innocence” by Judith A. Jance; “Sight Unseen” by Iris Johansen; “Invisible” by James Patterson; “Private: Down Under” by James Patterson; “Still Life” by Louise Penny; “ Tragedy at two” by Ann Purser; “Unleashed” by David Rosenfelt; “The Lost Key” by Catherine Coulter; “ Paris match” by Stuart Woods.

New fiction includes:  “Battle Of The Ampere”, “Rise Of The Elgen” and “The Prisoner Of Cell 25” by Richard Paul Evans; “Just one year” by Gayle Forman; “An Abundance Of Katherines” by John Green; “The Rise Of Nine” and “The Fall of Five” by Pittacus Lore; “The Matchmaker” by Elin Hilderbrand; “The 100-year-old man who climbed out the window and disappeared” by Jonas, Jonasson; “Sleight of hand : a novel of suspense” by Phillip Margolin; “Shadow on the Mesa” by Lee Martin; “A Proposal for Christmas” by Linda Lael Miller; “The Light of Evening” by Edna O’Brien; “The Prince of Risk” by Christopher Reich; “The 6th Extinction” by James Rollins; “First Sight” and “Pegasus” by Danielle Steel; “All Fall Down” by Jennifer Weiner; “The Confession” by Robert Whitlow; “Miami Gundown” by Michael Zimmer.
