Library ends record year

The library continues to be as busy as elves at the North Pole. We ended this past fiscal year with a record 75,778 transactions and are on track to meet or exceed that number this fiscal year, which has more to do with the economy than with the Holiday season. I am thankful for my wonderfully supportive board of directors, my staff and especially my volunteers, the City of Pittsburg and Camp County governing entities, and the community at large. You help us be successful. We wish you all a safe, blessed, merry Christmas and happy holiday season.

If you need a last minute gift, the library has Friends of the Library Fun Run T-Shirts left (sizes M & XL) marked 50% off for the holidays. They are $5.00 each at the library.

Come in and stock up on your books and videos for the holidays. The library will close at 5:30 p.m. on December 23rd and will re-open at 9:00 a.m. on Monday January 4th.
